ImpactThe international community recognizes ACF as a leader in the fight against hunger with our life-saving therapeutic feeding centers and supplementary feeding programs. Action Against Hunger's Scientific Committee pioneered the therapeutic milk formula (F100) now used by all major humanitarian organizations.
Our first initiatives provided assistance to Afghan refugees in Pakistan, Ugandan populations affected by war and drought, and helped Cambodian refugees in Thailand. During the 1980s and 1990s, ACF was involved in crises in countries that include Ethiopia, Iraq, Rwanda and Bosnia. Today, we assist over 5 million people in some 40 countries.
