Problem

The mission of the PKD Foundation is to promote research to find a cure for PKD and improve the care and treatment of those it affects. Education and advocacy are important parts of accomplishing that mission.

Since its inception in 1982, the PKD Foundation has worked with the U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch and other regulatory agencies in Washington, D.C., to raise awareness of PKD and impact legislators’ views on legislation and policies that affect ongoing PKD research efforts.

The Gift

This gift will support one legislative appointment to advocate on behalf of the PKD Foundation.
