Problem

Cold winters and slow pasture growth mean that the horses feeding needs to be provided through grain and hay. While grain is an important element in their diet, hay is their primary feed. Our 24 retirees go through about 1500 bales of hay a year.

The Gift

This gift will buy a bale of hay which will provide a source of primary nutrition for a horse. Hay is the closest food to being like grazing in a pasture, so it is the most natural food for horses and for their digestive system.
