Coalition to Salute America's Heroes

The Coalition has built 6 disability-adapted homes for either newly blind or paralyzed veterans. The Coalition is pursuing an alliance with two other organizations that will expand both the building of homes and home repair and modification to a larger portion of disabled veterans. more

The Coalition has provided more than $36,000 in emergency financial funding to injured war on terror veterans and their families. more

The Coalition has given away 142 personal computers, organized holiday parties, paid airfare for families to visit their loved ones in the hospital, and given long distance calling cards and $500 gift cards to wounded troops. Your gift will help the Coalition provide a gift to honor an injured servicemember. more

The Coalition has hosted two conferences for close to 200 severely wounded Veterans and their families. These all-expenses paid events have provided education, career counseling, and a forum for sharing, relaxation, entertainment, and other assistance. more

The Coalition has provided close to $1.5 million in emergency financial funding to injured war on terror veterans and their families. This financial aid has helped to pay rent, car loans, utility bills and other short-term needs. more

In 2006, the Coalition opened an office at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and is part of the Transition Employment Assistance Management Service (TEAMS). This group provides employment and transitioning assistance to service members and their military spouses. more
