Description:
We invite you to a cycling expedition through 800 kilometers of Belarus countryside, during ten to thirty days, in August and September.
Half of the time, we, volunteers (15 from western Europe and 15 from Belarus), will meet Belarusian people and discuss on different subjects, especially nature protection and sustainable tourism.
Our objectives are :
- to share and exchange our different ways of life and environment with the
Belarusian people from many villages
- to learn how and why it is important to reduce our impact on nature
- to get to know Belarus nature, wildlife and flora
- to realise how nature is being exploited there and how these resources are
necessary for the country’s economy
- to discover a new territory for tourism, different horizons and beings, to
encounter new paths of original eco-corridors
- to appreciate cycling together and regularly
- and, of course, to enroll oneself in a human adventure, with people from
many different countries.
Each volunteer will be charged between 10 and 20 euros a day (depending of the chosen accommodation), which include food, accommodation, guiding. We will take
care of the luggage, which will follow the volunteers in a car.
ECEAT-Belarus will help the volunteers to get a visa in the shortest time.
