Focus of nonprofit coalition work is on leveraging health care for uninsured needy residents. Volunteers perform variety of capacity-building services such as recruiting and training volunteers, developing fundraising support or patient education materials, community outreach in support of program objectives, database development, special projects, etc. Ideal pre-career experience for recent college graduates or great opportunity for post-career retirees wishing to put their experience to work on resolving health care issue.
