Hi, my name is Devin. I live in NYC and am dedicated towards helping out my local community.

Here are some of things I'm passionate about and what I feel would help the community:

My mom is a teacher at P.S. 1, an elementary school in downtown Manhattan. It has been quite well known that teachers have to pay for school supplies out of their own pocket. Paying for a teacher's office supplies will help lessen the burden of the cost, and I would appreciate it if you could donate money to school supplies. Additionally, having extra money for books to give to children would aid in their education as well.

I have also been a longtime supporter of finding ways to cure Cancer. Both my grandma and my aunt died from Cancer when I was a child, and I know that numerous other families have also had a loved one taken away because there is no cure. Supporting my favorite organization, American Cancer Society, would help bring us closer to finding a cure and stopping Cancer once and for all.

Furthermore, I am also a big believer that we need to take care of animals, and I personally love dogs. The unfortunate truth is that approximately 3.9 million dogs enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Many of them have been mistreated and even abused by their previous owners. Donating to help my favorite animal shelter, Muddy Paws Rescue, would help these dogs find new homes and get them the care they deserve.
