What did you do after school? Chances are you discovered a talent or passion that helped you expand your life possibilities, or you at least had a safe place to go. But while all families want these experiences for their kids, hands-on science & technology opportunities are few in low income communities. For many of the millions of kids who stop learning at 3 PM and have no access to enriching after-school programs, their best option is to be home alone with a game controller and a bag of chips.

The Gift

It costs the price of a movie ticket ($10) to provide 10 magnifying glasses to New York City public school kids to do hands-on science projects after school. Help TASC give kids the after-school experiences they need to be their best, in and out of school.
