Helping poor and vulnerable children is something I'm really passionate about, so I'd love for you to help me do that. I'm sure I'd find that a lot more rewarding than receiving a normal gift, which will either be consumed or become unnecessary clutter. Any of these gifts would make a massive difference to the lives of the children they help. Everyone deserves the best chance of success in life, so its amazing to give them that opportunity.

I'm sure there are causes you care about just as much, so please create your own wish-list. That way, I'll be able to support them when your next special occasion comes round.

A gift of $10 provides the costume for one youth from a low-income household. For each performance, youths receive 12 weeks of professional voice, dance and acting training through Random Acts of Theatre. RATco also provides a positive outlet for youthful energy and an alternative to the risky behaviors to which they are particularly vulnerable. The end result? Improved confidence for each performer and a professional musical performance for all.

Your gift will provide one child with clean water and sanitation. This project is a WaterCredit initiative. Families in these communities are ready for a big change. A survey of the area by our India partner found 81% of households were interested in taking out a loan for a water or sanitation facility. Families are willing to take out loans for the construction costs and long-term maintenance fees to build household water sources and sanitation facilities. WaterPartners International and our India partner will help provide the funds in a loan capacity to get these projects started and will work with these communities to develop and implement a sustainable community water supply and sanitation system. Community members will be given access to credit and connected with local contractors and retailers to buy the supplies and get the expertise needed to build their desired water or sanitation facility.
