AWB is independent of any government, political ideology, or religious creed. Our work is guided by the common desire of our members and supporters to find practical solutions to social and environmental problems, in a spirit of generosity and mutual respect.

We offer a place for nonprofits to list themselves and post listings like jobs, events, programs, and resources.

We offer our users the chance to attend one of our nonprofit career fairs or graduate degree fairs.

We offer a space for individuals to create groups and connect with other people looking to create change.

We reach over 40,000 people daily through our websites, Idealist.org, Idealistas.org, and Idealiste.org. These sites offer over 7000 nonprofit jobs, 11,000 volunteer opportunities, and 1000 internships, posted by over 70,000 organizations.

In addition, our career and graduate school fairs, conferences, and workshops bring together thousands of people each year.
