Problem

The fortunate orphan chimpanzees are those who, after surviving the abuse of the illegal bushmeat and pet trades, find their way to Ape Action Africa and its protected rainforest sanctuary. Once in our care, these innocent survivors depend on us for food and medicine and surrogate parenting, socialization and vaccines and physical security.

Your gift will provide a full month of nutritious meals of fresh produce; ongoing rehabilitation and socialization; fresh browse and nesting material in cleaned sleeping quarters; health checks, vaccinations, and disease diagnosis and treatment.
