Small organizations that work directly with fauna conservation have difficulties with grant raising because its projects are not capable of giving the visibility (media feedback) required by big corporations. This way, they fight to be capable of maintaining its structure and actions. And these are the projects and programs that work directly with wild fauna rescuing and reintegration, as with animal care, assisted reproduction and research.

The Gift

The objective of this gift is to build a permanent investment fund to finance research projects and actions for the preservation and conservation of biodiversity, guaranteeing the sustainability and autonomy of environmental institutions and their initiatives. Renctas has created this fund, where part of the money raised annually is reverted to the small projects and the part is reinvested in an endowment fund, to maintain the investments. Through the resources of this fund, we help smaller fauna conservation organizations to maintain themselves and to perpetuate their actions. Donating to the Fund for Biodiversity Protection is an effective action to help defending the environment: the constitution of a permanent patrimony permits the development of medium and long term strategies of fight against the wild animals trafficking, which will assure constant preservation of our fauna. For each thousand dollars, you will help finance a project of fauna recovery.
