Problem
USCRI has sponsored a Campaign to End the Warehousing of Refugees. There are eight million refugees worldwide who have been denied basic human rights—to work or move freely—and are forced to live in camps, or segregated settlements, for five or more years. USCRI has been shining a light on the situation of warehoused refugees and is urging the international community to acknowledge this problem and work to change the plight of these displaced people.
The Gift
Your gift of $50 will enable USCRI to spend two hours of research in support of its Anti-Warehousing Campaign. This may include: researching the situation in specific countries, gathering information for the USCRI’ Anti-Warehousing Bulletin or finding additional support for the USCRI’s Statement to End the Warehousing. The Statement has been endorsed by over 400 organizations and prominent individuals such as the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu.
