Overview

CEC ARTSLINK is an international arts service organization. Our program of cultural exchange sustains constructive, mutually beneficial relationships between the U.S. and the 27 countries of Central Europe, Russia and Eurasia.

Mission

We believe that the arts are a society’s most deliberate and complex means of communication, and that artists and those who work in the arts can help nations overcome long histories of reciprocal distrust and conflict.

Program

ArtsLink Awards offer funding to artists and arts organizations for residencies and creative collaborations.

Jubilee Fellowships is a U.S. residency program for young, mid-career Russian arts managers.

Open World Cultural Leaders brings young professionals in the arts from Russia to the United States.

VisArt: Contemporary Issues in Arts and Culture
offers short residencies in the U.S., seminars and performances by well known U.S. artists.

VisArt Central Asia, for visual and performing artists in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kirghiz Republic, offers U.S. residencies and workshops in contemporary arts.

Sound system rental

CEC ArtsLink

Regular price $75.00

Sound equipment and technical help are not expensive by U.S. standards, but such costs are still beyond the reach of music schools and community cultural centers in Central Asia. $75 helps to make possible a memorable concert of new music and a demonstration of non-traditional performance styles.
