Problem

Transition from military to civilian occupations can be a very difficult process for a service member and their spouse.


The Gift

In 2006, the Coalition opened an office at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and is part of the Transition Employment Assistance Management Service (TEAMS). This group provides employment and transitioning assistance to service members and their military spouses. A gift can help to provide on-job pre-occupational training, online courses, which cost $500 - $600 per service member.
