Problem

Due to a lack of funding, the shelters are not able to provide many resources in the name of celebrations. As a result, the mass majority of the children living in the shelter miss out on some of the most memorable childhood experiences. Every child should be able to have a memorable birthday party. Celebrations enhance overall happiness, social skills, self-esteem and on the most basic level they give the kids something to look forward to and remember.
