Problem

The basketball courts in St. Vincent & the Grenadines are all outdoors without any roofing or protection from the elements. The court surfaces are often cracked, the basketball rims/poles are often cracked and rusty, and the lines faded due to rough weather conditions (extreme heat, hurricanes, etc). This makes for unsafe playing conditions for children.

Your extremely generous gift will help fix up 5 basketball courts on 4 islands of St. Vincent & the Grenadines (St. Vincent, Bequia, Canouan, & Union Island) and make them safer playing environments for children. We are estimating a total of $500 in repairs per court.
