We provide individuals separated from their biological roots, like adult adoptees, to find their birth families on both their biological mother and father's side of their family. This not only requires highly abstract research skills, but also a sensitivity to the subject of the clients particular background and story. It is a self-discovery of the nature behind an individuals identity. Most having been separated from their biological heritage all of their lives.

A nonprofit organization which provides technical support, genetic genealogical expertise and help using traditional search methodologies and modern science of DNA testing to assist individuals separated from their biological roots seeking to resolve the answers they seek.

The founder of the nonprofit is an adoptee himself, who spent a challenging time during his own search for birth family. He felt so moved by the experience that he formed, what later became, our nonprofit. Since that time we have become the authority on performing these searches for thousands of people and being the host for millions of other visitors to our website and resources.

Our program requires an individual to fill out a search form on our website here: https://www.searchangels.org/searching. Ninety percent of those who request our assistance receive their search at no cost. The other ten percent of those seeking our help choose an expedited search that has a flat rate purchase that goes toward their search. Each level of paid search insures that a set block of hours are devoted to their case on a weekly basis. Our paid searches can be performed on two different pay scales. The first is a monthly subscription and the other is a yearly flat rate. Both are far below the actual cost absorbed by traditional researchers and genetic genealogists in the profession.

It is our belief that everyone deserves to know the truth behind their story of origin. Many adult adoptees are left feeling like a chameleon during their lives have no genuine foundation to reflect upon as their actual biological roots in the world. We provide them with the knowledge they have sought, sometimes, all of their lives. This helps many feel extremely grounded and given the chance to come to terms with the truth. Sometimes people even have the possibility to reach out and have a reunion with those who gave them life.

We are expanding our search capabilities internationally. The past year and a half we have recruited volunteers from across the globe to help us achieve this goal and spread out impact well outside the borders of the United States.
