I was born in Delhi, India, and studied Computer Science at Delhi University. I then came to the United States, where I studied Computer Science at Stanford, worked for four years for Google, and now live in San Francisco.

About this Site and Our Internship Opportunities

The New York Times called ChangingThePresent.org, "an Amazon.com of the nonprofit world." Our nonprofit channels to nonprofits and schools some of the $450 billion Americans spend each year on birthday, wedding, holiday, and corporate gifts. We do that by making the experience of a donation, given in a friend's name, feel like a rewarding gift and a great alternative to buying yet more "stuff."

We hire several hundred international students as interns each year, which may be the largest number of internships for any American nonprofit. Among the many outstanding positions we offer are:

• OPT - gain experience, enhance your resume, and stop the unemployment clock

• Current Students - gain US work experience while still in school (even first-year are eligible), and enhance your prospects for employment
