Pump Clean Water
One motorized pump
Water lifting methods for providing a family, school, hospital or village with clean drinking water in a developing country are often too expensive, severely hurting the health and well-being of children, the elderly and the very poor. An affordable and locally built technology like the motorized rope pump can help to substantially increase the health of villagers in a community, and in some cases provide the only sources of potable water for an entire village.
With a donation of $100, a motorized rope pump (MRP) capable of lifting over 10,000 gallons of clean drinking water per day from depths of over 115 feet for less that will serve a family, school, hospital, orphanage and in some cases will be the only source of clean water for entire villages. The motorized rope pump is locally manufactured ensuring it can be serviced regularly preventing breakdowns, and in the event of a gas shortage, it can be turned by hand ensuring clean water always reaches those in need. Installing a motorized rope pump also means that a previously open well can be sealed preventing pollution from entering and children from falling in and getting hurt or worse. A donation of a MRP is truly a gift that can help hundreds of children, elderly, women and men for many years to come.
