Dinner for "tech week"
Freedom Foundation
Problem
Random Acts of Theatre provides professional community theater productions for Selma, Alabama. Those involved (on the stage and off) have a positive outlet for their creativity and a way to learn skills while they have a ton of fun. Members of historic Selma, Alabama get the arts right in their neighborhood. Performers, stage crew, producers and directors come to the theater right after work or school and stay until late each night.
The Gift
The gift provides dinner for one during tech week (the week leading up to the performance). Many of the young people come from low-income families and love to spend their evenings with positive role models from RATco. They get hungry as they polish their acts and get ready to provide a professional, quality experience for the community. This gift feeds them and their futures at the same time!
