Support Aid Delivery
Survey expert in Sudan
Sudan is struggling to rebuild after a 21-year civil war that devastated the area and left 350,000 Sudanese without basic services and infrastructure, including food, water and housing. The distribution of food to people in dire need is the top humanitarian priority, but this aid can’t get through when dilapidated, landmined roads stand in the way. Emergency aid groups require the most up to date mapping information in order to deliver life-saving food and supplies.
Veterans for America’s Information Management and Mine Action Programs (iMMAP) has been providing vital mapping information to aid agencies for over eight years. We are leading the effort to create and distribute practical, usable information that allows food and supplies to get to the people that need them the most as quickly as possible in times of crisis. Your gift will provide life-saving information by funding one full day of aid route mapping by an expert in Sudan. Combined with the gifts of others, we will be able to provide a full view of the safest, most efficient route for getting food and supplies to the 350,000 Sudanese in the most dire need. Please help us provide the information that enables vital aid to get to the people that need it most!
