Overview

We provide sports, health and leadership programs to girls ages 7-18 in under-served communities in Chicago, North Texas and Baltimore.

Mission

At Girls in the Game, every girl finds her voice, discovers her strength and leads with confidence through fun and active sports, health and leadership programs.

History

Girls in the Game was originally established in 1995 by a group of women who saw the impact of sports in their own personal and professional lives, and wanted to provide the same opportunity to girls across Chicago.

Program

We provide sports, health and leadership programs for girls ages 7-18. At the younger end of the spectrum, girls practice basic sports skills and discuss topics like positive body image and healthy eating. As girls grow, they learn our curriculum to become coaches themselves for younger girls.

Impact

We've served over 50,000 girls in the past 25 years. We served over 4,000 girls last year alone.

Goals this year

Our goal is to continue to expand our reach in Chicago, Baltimore and North Texas. We are always looking to serve more girls!
