Young and old live in a world that is dependent on technology. Younger people have grown up with the internet, text messaging and downloading music. Older adults have varying degrees of comfort with and access to technology. Intergenerational programs that involve younger people teaching older people to use technology use the strengths of one generation to meet the needs of another.
